Your values meet mine

Content partner in a vibrant plaid shirt standing smiling, leaning on a bookshelf with books.

I don’t know about you, but if I were running a business that wanted to reach a global market, I know what values I’d want my content partner to share:

They would be keen to get to know my company, its vision and its mission.

They’d understand our voice and know how to convey our message with clear, convincing communication.

A content partner would intuitively be able to engage our target market ‒ they’d know which words are the right ones to inform, to educate or to drive our audience to take action.

And they’d be able to back up their skills and expertise with the right qualifications, experience and dedication to professional development.

Your content partner

I’m Lloyd Bingham, your content partner.

A first-language English speaker and a Modern Languages graduate:
French, German, Spanish and Dutch to be exact.

Experienced

A piece of paper isn’t everything. Practical experience counts enormously… and I have nearly 15 years of it. I worked as an in-house translator for a major UK translation company for two years, before being promoted to senior translator and joint head of the translation department for a further year.

Qualified

In 2014, I passed the ITI Qualified Translator Assessment and founded my own business, Capital Translations, which became capital content in 2025.

My mission wasn’t just to translate and edit; it was to deliver effective communication to my clients. Content that says what they want it to say, but in their target audience’s language and in a style that connects with them.

Evolving

What’s absolutely crucial to me is staying engaged with my profession. I never stop learning about trends and developments, and new ways to reach audiences, which ultimately benefits my clients.

That’s why I continuously invest in developing my skills and expertise, sharing my own knowledge and insights as a conference speaker too.

Committed

I take a colossal amount of pride in what I do and the value it delivers for my clients. This wouldn’t be possible without an uncompromising commitment to quality standards. As a Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) since 2014, I abide by its Code of Conduct.

I’ve been a member of the ITI Board of Directors since 2022, serving as Vice-Chair of the Board since 2025, helping to shape those standards and ensure they stay rigorous while adapting them to an evolving era.

Let’s talk content

Anyone can hire a translator, an editor or a copywriter.

It takes a savvy business to engage a content partner.

A translator simply translates. A copyeditor simply edits.

But a content partner translates, edits, revises, reviews, collaborates, consults, advises and bounces ideas around with you – anything to bring added value to your business.
